... our thing that we have unknowingly inherited, and need
to explore now as a brand new gift...
and reinterpret and redefine, before it may disappear...

Europeanness as an idea or notion is NOT opposed in any sense to "Americanness" or "Canadianness",
and doesn't exclude any countries who belong to Western Civilization, like Georgia, for example,
and doesn't exclude anyone who chooses to be European.
